Recently, Liaoning Provincial Science and Technology Agency announced the formation plan about Liaoning Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center of 2015. "Liaoning research center of low-carbon pavement materials engineering" was approved to set up.
The establishment of Liaoning Research Center of Engineering Technology aims to further implement the innovation-driven development strategy, improve the technological innovation system and promote enterprises to become the subject of innovation, enhance abilities of application of basic research, engineering research and development, transformation of scientific and technological achievements and personnel training and introduction. According to the opinions of experts in related fields, 39 provincial engineering and technical research centers were approved to be set up in 2015. Liaoning research center of low-carbon pavement materials engineering of our college mainly focuses on the independent research and development of the outstanding problems faced by the pavement regeneration technology in seasonal frozen zone, the warm-mix asphalt and mixture technology, the pavement cold-mixing and cold-laying technology and the industrial waste recycling technology. The construction and development of the research center will surely bring about the rapid development of this discipline and this region. It will surely become a training base for talents in the field of low-carbon pavement materials in Liaoning Province, a promotion base of technological innovation and high-tech in this field.
